Course Overview
This comprehensive course discusses the utility of duplex ultrasound in diagnosing and troubleshooting arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) and grafts (AVGs) used for hemodialysis access. Course Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will:
Recognize modes of failure of AVF/AVG
Describe duplex characteristics of malfunctioning AVF/AVG
Understand controversies in utilizing AVF/AVG for surveillance
