Course Overview
Learn to perform a comprehensive liver Doppler examination with this course, focusing on assessing the portal circulation, liver vasculature, and common liver diseases like cirrhosis and portal hypertension. Master Doppler techniques for evaluating portal veins, hepatic veins, and arteries, and understand how to identify vascular abnormalities and complications.
Course Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will:
Recognize liver anatomy and physiology related to the duplex examination
Appreciate proper liver duplex examination techniques and interpretation
Identify ultrasound findings associated with liver disease
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers, and others who perform and/or interpret ultrasound.
