Course Overview

This course presents a series of liver Doppler case studies, focusing on ultrasound techniques to assess liver vascular structures and detect pathologies. Gain insights into the evaluation of portal vein, hepatic artery, and hepatic vein flow, and improve your diagnostic skills in liver-related conditions through real-world case examples.

Course Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant will:

  • Describe spectral waveform changes associated with proximal and distal stenosis noted in carotid ultrasound exams.

  • Accurately identify the cervical arteries

  • Differentiate atherosclerotic carotid disease from non-atherosclerotic carotid artery pathologies

Target Audience

  • Physicians, sonographers, and others who perform and/or interpret vascular ultrasound.
