Part 1 Fetal Cardiac Morphology: Understanding the Four Chambers and Normal Markers
Course Overview
This course is designed to help students understand the structure of the fetal heart, with a particular focus on its four chambers. Students will learn to identify key markers that indicate normal growth in these chambers. By working with sonographic images, they will develop the skills to evaluate standard heart development patterns and measurements. Additionally, the course will enable students to differentiate between normal heart features and signs that might suggest abnormalities.
Course Objectives
1. Comprehensive Overview of Fetal Heart Chambers:
Explore the normal structural anatomy of the fetal heart with an emphasis on the four chambers.
2. Recognizing Normal Development:
Enhance your skills in identifying and describing key morphological markers within each chamber of the fetal heart.
3. Mastering 4-Chamber Biometric Assessments:
Learn to accurately identify and describe essential measurement parameters, such as chamber dimensions and volume calculations.
