
Sonographic Evaluation of Benign and Malignant Breast Masses
Course Overview
This course covers the sonographic evaluation of benign and malignant breast masses, focusing on differentiating simple cysts, complex masses, and solid tumors. Gain insights into the ultrasound features of common benign conditions like simple cysts, fibroadenomas, and lipomas, as well as how to recognize suspicious characteristics that could indicate malignancy, including irregular margins, posterior acoustic shadowing, and microcalcifications. The course also discusses advanced topics such as complex masses, intraductal tumors, and lymph node assessments, providing a thorough understanding of how ultrasound is used to guide diagnosis, biopsy decisions, and treatment planning for breast cancer.
