Event Overview
The MSK 2025 African Safari CME conference is a comprehensive educational program focused on orthopedic imaging of the upper extremity, emphasizing advanced MRI and ultrasonography. This activity addresses current gaps in diagnostic strategy, imaging techniques, and interpretation for joint, tendon, nerve, and muscle pathology, tailored for radiologists and clinicians. Faculty will share evidence-based approaches, state-of-the-art imaging protocols, and guidance for integrating updated criteria into clinical practice.
Participants will engage in lectures, case discussions, and interactive question-and-answer sessions to promote improvements in competence and performance.
Set within the immersive environment of an African safari, this conference provides a unique opportunity for collegial interaction and the development of professional camaraderie. The natural, tranquil setting supports restoration, primes the brain for optimal learning, and facilitates meaningful exchanges among participants. Small group discussion formats, inspired by the retreat setting, are designed to enhance peer-to-peer engagement, increase knowledge retention, and nurture a supportive learning community.
This activity is planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Institute for Advanced Medical Education (IAME) and Blue Horizon Conferencing. IAME is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The activity offers AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, with credit designation determined by participation in qualifying educational sessions.
Educational objectives, needs assessment, and outcomes measurement are incorporated to ensure compliance with ACCME standards and to support improved patient care practices. All planners and faculty have disclosed that they have no relevant financial relationships with commercial interests.
Objectives
