Course Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will:
Discuss the pathophysiology of congenital pulmonary airway malformation.
Review the subtypes of congenital pulmonary airway malformation.
Outline the differential diagnosis of an echogenic lung mass.
Identify the sonographic findings associated with congenital pulmonary airway malformation.
Discuss potential fetal therapy for specific types of congenital pulmonary airway malformations.
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers, and others who perform and/or interpret ultrasound.
