Mesenteric Duplex Examinations

Mesenteric Duplex Examinations

Course Overview

This course covers the diagnostic techniques for assessing mesenteric arterial disease through duplex ultrasound. Learn how to identify signs of acute and chronic mesenteric ischemia, understand the role of the celiac, superior mesenteric, and inferior mesenteric arteries in circulation, and apply Doppler parameters to detect stenosis and occlusion. The course will also review common diagnostic criteria and differentiate between mesenteric ischemia and median arcuate ligament compression. Ideal for clinicians looking to master mesenteric duplex exams for effective diagnosis and treatment planning.
