Course Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will:
Describe the indication for and the technique to perform saline infusion sonohysterography.
Identify the advantages of sonohysterography over other methods to assess the endometrial cavity.
Apply sonohysterography to triage patients with vaginal bleeding into those that can be treated medically and those that require surgery.
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers, and others who perform and/or interpret obstetrical ultrasound.
