Course Overview

Learn how to effectively assess and diagnose congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV) through sonography. This course covers essential sonographic signs, including ventriculomegaly, calcifications, and other fetal abnormalities associated with CMV. Course Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant will:

  • Describe the etiology and clinical manifestations of Cytomegalovirus (CMV).

  • Describe the maternal and fetal diagnostic work up for CMV.

  • Identify the sonographic signs and treatment of congenital CMV.

  • Improve patient management through early detection of CMV.
