Course Overview

Course Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will:
Describe the clinical significance of abnormalities of the umbilical cord size, shape and vascularity.
Apply ultrasound findings to detect clinically significant changes in the umbilical cord.
Improve pregnancy outcome through identification of cord abnormalities associated with high risk pregnancy.
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers, and others who perform and/or interpret obstetrical ultrasound.
