Course Overview

Learn to differentiate benign from malignant ovarian masses through advanced sonographic techniques. This course covers ovarian cysts, tumors, and sonographic signs, including the use of Doppler and 3D ultrasound for accurate diagnosis. Master key features such as papillary excrescences, solid components, and more for effective clinical assessment.


Course Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant will:

  • Describe risk factors of ovarian malignancy.

  • Compare the sonographic features of benign ovarian masses.

  • Apply transvaginal sonography patterns to help predict benign vs. malignant ovarian lesions.


Target Audience

  • Physicians, sonographers, and others who perform and/or interpret obstetrical ultrasound.
