Introduction to Echocardiography Course
Course Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant will:
Analyze the imaging planes and movements used in echocardiography
Evaluate the basics of 2D image formation
Describe a normal M-mode echo tracing
Distinguish when to use M-mode tracings
Differentiate abnormal pathology on a M-mode
Target Audience
Physicians, sonographers, and others who perform and/or interpret cardiac ultrasound.
