Course Overview

Understand left ventricular outflow tract obstructions in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Learn echocardiographic techniques, assess severity and location of obstructions, and explore treatment options like medications, surgery, and patient management tips for HOCM.


Course Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant will:

  • Understand the underlying principles and mechanisms of LV obstructive gradients.

  • Identify and interpret LV obstructive gradients using various diagnostic techniques and tools.

  • Analyze the clinical significance of LV obstructive gradients and their implications for patient management.

  • Apply appropriate treatment strategies and interventions based on assessing LV obstructive gradients.
