The obective of this learning activity is to improved the participant’s ability to confidently and accurately diagnose gynecologic pathology. This improvement will be evidenced through the participant’s ability to list criteria that allow a confident diagnosis of pelvic pathology, describe the sonographic appearance of the most commonly encountered types of physiologic and pathologic adnexal cysts and list the key sonographic features of a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst.
