Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Mini-Symposium is a multimedia program on the use of stereotactic tables for breast biopsy. The five sections that make up the program employ a combination of audio, slides and written transcript.
After completing this course, the participant should be able to:
- describe methods, accuracy and possible complications of stereotactic biopsy
- describe an algorithm for breast biopsy under image guidance
- discuss factors impacting concordance in breast biopsy
- discuss the pros and cons of stereotactic biopsy with upright vs. prone equipment
